Whatever-Wednesdays.

So this is basically when I can write about anything, fashion related or not and I thought, why not dedicate a whole post to Mike Posner. I'm currently listening to his Album and it is so amazing.

Mike was born February 12th 1988. He went to Duke University and studied Sociology. He was also a frat boy and to British Girls that might not be much but oh Gosh, is it soo much to me! 

His album is called 31 minutes to takeoff and I could definitely listen to it whilst I'm on an airplane. The whole album tells you a story which is what I love about it. It all comes together without all copying, you know what I mean? It's a great album and you sort of get to know Mike whilst listening to it. 

At first it is quite R'n'b then it goes of a Pop-ish sort of but all the way through, the songs still have that R'n'b/Dance aesthetic hidden in them.

 

But enough about that, songs to skip to are - Please Don't Go, 31 Minutes To Take Off, Bow Chicka Wow Wow.

Oh and LOOK! He is sporting that cute geeky boy look I was talking about yesterday and doesn't he look yummy!

Tuesdays New Loves!

Mondays! Well everyone hates Mondays so lets talk about Tuesday because everything good happens on a Tuesday (or Wednesday in some cases) And that is why I hail this day, a day of new loves! Every Tuesday I'll be inspired to write about a new love of mine or two and this Tuesday, not only have I proclaimed that I just about adore the geeky look on a boy, I love this new farmer's quilted coat craze that seems to be everywhere I go! 

Burberry Quilted Jacket

Quilted Coats.

I seriously can not find out where this sudden craze cam from but then I relised, maybe it is the English countryside. With the recent advert of YeoValley (Check it out, it's so good!) Everyone is wearing their quilted jackets and tweed coats! It's a new trend and reminds me very much of burberry! So where can I buy this? It's a question I've been asking myself for weeks now! Here darlings, is where you can get variations of this quilted coat.

RIVER ISLAND are doing a different version with knitted arms and quilted torso. It is very slimming and a total favourite with one of my fashionista friends. I absolutely adore it girlies!

Also, ASOS, the online store, is doing two colors, khaki and navy of the quilted jacket. I love them dearly and buy them both! 

Lastly, I'd just like point out that if you can afford spending 200 odd quid on a Quilted Jacket then Burberry is the place to go!

Next on my Tuesday New Loves is that geeky boy look! Wearing geeky glasses is such a trend now that in the poor "geeks" themselves are happy to know that they have a place in fashion. So is being a geek really in? I think it is and with the way Pixie Geldof is wearing those glasses, it must be!

WHO IS SHE!?

Hello! My name is Stacey and I have a serious commitment issue when it comes to fashion blogging! Well not this time people! The style hunter is hear to stay! Hunting down the latest styles and just things of personal and public interest. So who am I exactly?

Here's a few things about me!

- I'm fourteen years young - my birthday is October 23rd
- I'm absolutely in love with New York. I envy anyone who's even come close to that city!
- I aspire to be a fashion journalist/publisist/editor! Yes, a ray of different jobs but I'm still deciding. Which should I pick? Louise Roe, Kelly Cutrone or Anna Wintour? I'll soon know!
- I don't really know what my style is, it's a bit different. I'm not exactly a trendsetter but soon, honeys, soon!
- I'm currently listening to Let The Sunshine by Labrinth! I love him so much
- Why Style Hunter 147? 1 - I like to be on top! 4 - My house number! 7 - My favourite/lucky number!
- I'm from London but live in a small city.
- My fave style icons are Lourdes Leon, Fearne Cotton, Alexa Chung, Rihanna and last but not least, Louise Roe!
- FINALLY! FASHION TIP OF THE DAY! Shop at charity shops. Kayla Hadlington does it and her style is a teenage dream.
